What I'd really like to see here is an explanation of what is different about a piece that is modal compared with a piece in a key. I've never seen a good explanation of this. I don't think we need a listing of what all the modes are, this is confusing for the beginner, maybe a link to an external site for those who are interested. For the newcomer to early music it's helpful to have an indication that pieces don't necessarily end on the "key chord" and they may have unusual accidentals or lack expected sharps or flats.
