Where to find music
Online: IMSLP (Petrucci Music Library) Free downloads. Includes music of all periods, but has a lot of medieval and renaissance music, and a good filter/search function once you get used to it.
CPDL (Choral public Domain Library). Free downloads Although this is choral music much of it is suitable for instrumental use. All periods, but including renaissance. Google-style search function.
London Pro Musica and other Independent publishers
Suppliers - Jacks Pipe and Hammers
And any others that we know
We could
1) just post the links, in the interests of spreading info
2) go to suppliers and say "we'll link to you if you link to us" - if they don't then that's a bit of info we won't be giving our readers.
3) go to suppliers and say "we've linked to you" and hope that some, at least, will link to us
Thoughts?
